  • 2pm-11pm: Registration for SSNC17**

  • 7pm-9pm: Volunteer Welcome Event
    Location – Georgia Tech Hotel
  • 9pm: Talent Show Participant Meeting
    Location – Georgia Tech Hotel

**If you arrive after 11pm, you will go straight to your hotel to check-in and register for SSNC17 on Friday morning during breakfast at McCamish Pavilion

Friday
April 7, 2017 

Dress for day is comfortable business casual. There is quite a bit of walking, please wear comfortable shoes.

  • 7:30am: Breakfast opens and attendees begin departing hotels
  • 8am-9am: Mingling Breakfast and Registration for late arrivals
    Location – McCamish Pavilion
  • 9am-10:30am: Opening Ceremonies
    Location – McCamish Pavilion
  • 10:30am-12:30pm: Thread Day One Activities
    Location – Georgia Tech Campus
  • 10:30am-12:30pm: Planning Session One for Program Leads ONLY
    Location – Stamps Commons, Piedmont Room
  • 12:30pm-2pm: Lunch & Be the Match Bone Marrow Registry
    Location – Georgia Tech Campus
  • 2pm-4pm: Planning Session Two for Program Leads ONLY
    At the conclusions of the session you will join the Stamps Service Challenge in the predetermined group on your nametag

  • 2pm-6pm: Stamps Service Challenge: Consulting for Social Good
    Location – Georgia Tech Campus
  • 6pm-8:30pm: Dinner and Keynote Speech by Elisa Villanueva Beard, CEO of Teach for America

    – McCamish Pavilion
  • 8:45pm-10pm: Stamps Scholars Biennial Talent Show
    Location – McCamish Pavilion
  • 10pm: Escorted back to hotels

 

Saturday
April 8, 2017

Dress for daytime activities is snappy casual. During Free Time attendees will be able to return to their hotels to change for the evening activities in which dress is business formal.

  • 7:30am-8:30am: Complimentary breakfast in your own hotel
  • 8:30am-9am: Travel to Thread Activities
    Depart from hotels
  • 9am-2pm: Thread Day Two Activities
    Location – Georgia Tech campus and Atlanta, depending on Thread
  • 2pm-4:45pm: Scholar Expo
    Location – Georgia Tech Student Center
  • 4:45pm-5:45pm: Free Time
  • 5:45pm-6:15pm: Travel to Dinner and Keynote Speech via bus
    Depart from hotels
  • 6:30pm-9pm: Dinner and Keynote Speech by Dr. G. Wayne Clough, Former Secretary of the Smithsonian
    Location
    – Georgia Freight Depot
  • 9pm-9:15pm: Travel to Georgia Tech Student Center Ballroom
  • 9:15pm-11pm: Scholar Soiree
    Location – Georgia Tech Student Center, Ballroom
  • 9:15pm: Program Lead ONLY Social
    Location – Georgia Tech Hotel Lobby
  • 11pm: Escorted back to hotels

 

Sunday
April 9, 2017

Dress for day is casual as there is only morning activities. Please dress appropriately for a closing event.

  • 7:30am-9am: Breakfast buffet opens
    Location – Georgia Tech Hotel, Ballroom Concourse
  • 9:10am-11am: Closing Ceremonies
    Location – Georgia Tech Hotel, Ballroom
  • 11am: Dismissal to retrieve luggage and depart
